DESCRIPTION

The Ideatón was both a needs assessment and a regional contest where teams of students in lower secondary school (ciclo básico) submitted ideas for helping more Guatemalan students transition to primero básico. The ideas generated were integrated into a proposal to USAID for improving reading, math, and social and emotional learning in primary education in the Western Highlands (specifically Baja Verapaz, Huehuetenango, El Quiché, and San Marcos).

MY ROLE

I designed the promotional video (produced in both Spanish and K'iche') using Procreate, a promotional flyer that was circulated through social media, the awards ceremony program, and a video for the awards ceremony using Adobe Premiere Pro highlighting all of the submissions and announcing the contest winners.
