DESCRIPTION

The 84-page SIT TESOL Certificate Course Administrative Handbook is part of a starter kit given to administrators who are offering World Learning's certificate course at their language centers for the first time (the materials will continue to be used as a reference for as long as they offer the course). The starter kit also comes with editable forms and promotional materials.

MY ROLE

Since 2004, the version of the handbook that World Learning had been using was a simple Word doc. I reimagined the handbook to be more visually engaging and also copy edited the text. In Adobe InDesign, I used styles and parent pages to manage the large amount of content. Images were either from World Learning or were sourced from sites offering CC BY images, such as Unsplash. All image sources are appropriately cited. For additional support, I set up a Team where all administrators are added so they have access to the most up-to-date materials, but they will also have their own channels so they can upload materials specific to their site or share sensitive documents with World Learning.
